This course builds on the concepts introduced in basic chemistry with a focus on exploring these ideas to use this knowledge in diverse and unfamiliar situations. The topics explored include the principles of chemical thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, acid-base equilibria and electrochemistry.
