This course is designed to provide necessary concepts in statistics and skills in statistical software for students in health sciences. Students will be able to apply the knowledge gained in this course to solve related problems in their field and use the knowledge in further study. Students will learn a broad range of statistical topics, including, descriptive statistics, life table, relative risk, odd ratio, and solving statistical problems in health science using the following topics, parameter estimation, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, analysis of covariance, regression and correlation analysis, and non-parametric statistics.
