รายวิชานี้เสนอแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับชุมชนและการพัฒนาชุมชน การใช้กระบวนทัศน์แบบองค์รวมในการทำความเข้าใจและอธิบายอิทธิพลของปัจจัยต่าง ๆ เรียนรู้และฝึกปฏิบัติในชุมชนโดยประยุกต์ใช้เครื่องมือต่างๆ บทบาทของนักสาธารณสุขในการพัฒนาสุขภาพชุมชน การจัดกระบวนการมีส่วนร่วมในชุมชน การประเมินความจำเป็นทางสุขภาพ การวิเคราะห์สาเหตุของปัญหาสุขภาพ การจัดลำดับความสำคัญของปัญหา การวางแผนพัฒนาสุขภาพ การจัดทำโครงการแก้ไขปัญหา การประเมินผลและนำเสนอผลงาน

คำอธิบายรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ

This course provide knowledge on concepts of community and community development, applications of holistic paradigm in understanding and explaining various related factors; study and practice with  application of community tools; roles of public health officers in community health development to encourage community participation, community health need assessment, causal analysis of health problems, prioritization, health planning and project development for solving health  problem, evaluation and presentation of the results.
