DCM63-126 Knowledge Organization System

This course focuses on specifications and standards to support the use of knowledge organization systems (KOS). Students must be able to work in the area of design a Resource Description Framework (RDF), development and application of thesauri, taxonomy, classification schemes, subject heading systems, and application of Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) framework for the Semantic Web development.
