วิชานี้ศึกษาเกี่ยวกับความรู้พื้นฐานทางสถิติเพื่อการวิจัยทางการท่องเที่ยวและโรงแรม เช่น การกำหนดประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง เทคนิคการสุ่มตัวอย่าง การประยุกต์ใช้โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเบื้องต้น ประกอบด้วยสถิติพรรณนาและอนุมาน และการทดสอบสมมติฐาน และการฝึกปฏิบัติควบคู่กับการเรียนภาคทฤษฏี

This course studies the fundamental statistics for research in tourism and hotel i.e. population and samples, and sampling techniques; the application of computerized software for basic analysis of data, including descriptive and inferential statistics, and assumption testing; and includes both practical and theoretical classes.
