
This course includes the following topics: basic and advanced electronics for robots, modeling and design robots, the use of actuators, sensors and microcontroller in mechatronic design. Topics include electric motor such as AC, DC and stepper motor, solenoids, micro-actuator, position sensors (Encoders, sonar, infrared), proximity sensor.

This course includes the following topics: application of electronics to mechatronics and robots, sensors, instrumentation and measurement, actuating devices, hardware components for mechatronics, signals, system and controls, connectivity between computer and electromechanical systems, hydraulic system and pneumatic system, analysis and design as well as integrating the knowledge to build mechatronic and robotic innovation.
