Seminar courses are intended to develop students’ abilities to search for, critically review, and summarize academic articles. Through these courses, students will practice identifying key issues, extracting important concepts, and synthesizing information into coherent knowledge. The courses also aim to enhance students’ competencies in preparing presentation materials, presenting findings from academic article reviews, engaging in academic discussion, responding to questions, and respectfully considering others’ opinions. Although seminar courses are offered as non-credit courses, students must attain the required level of performance.
