รายวิชานี้ออกแบบมาเพื่อให้ผู้เรียนได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับหลักการพื้นฐานทางสังคมวิทยา หัวข้อรายวิชานี้ประกอบด้วยประวัติความเป็นมา แนวคิด ทฤษฎี หลักการ ความส าคัญของสังคมวิทยา วิธีการศึกษาทางสังคมวิทยา โครงสร้างเบื้องต้นของสังคม การจัดกลุ่ม สถาบัน ล าดับชั้นและการจัดช่วงชั้นทาง สังคม อิทธิพลของสิ่งแวดล้อมที่มีต่อบุคคลและกลุ่ม จิตวิทยาทางสังคม กลไกและการจัดระเบียบทางสังคม บรรทัดฐานทางสังคม ความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคม การขัดเกลาทางสังคม กระบวนการทางสังคม พฤติกรรม เบี่ยงเบน การไร้ระเบียบทางสังคม ความเฉื่อยทางวัฒนธรรม การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม และปัญหาทางสังคม โดยเน้นตัวอย่างจากประเด็นหรือสถานการณ์ทางสังคมในอดีตจนกระทั่งปัจจุบันเพื่อน าความรู้ดังกล่าวไป ประยุกต์และปรับใช้ให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทการจัดการเรียนรู้สังคมศึกษา

This course is designed for students to study the fundamentals of sociology. The topics of this course consist of history, approaches, principles, and significance of sociology , methodology of sociology, the basic structure of society, social groups, social institutions, social hierarchy, social stratification, the influence of the environment on individuals and groups, social psychology, mechanisms and social organization, social norms, social relationships, social refinement, social process, deviant behavior, social disorganization, cultural inertia, social changes, and social problems by emphasizing examples from past societies until the present and apply the knowledge of sociology to social studies learning management.
