This course is intended to introduce the principles and essential concepts of ecology. Topics included interrelationships between organisms and their environment, population ecology, intra- and interspecific relationships, ecology of communities, different biomes, ecosystem ecology, application of ecological theories in environmental problems and conservation biology.
