รายวิชานี้มุ่งเน้นให้ทราบและเข้าใจบทบาทหน้าที่ของเภสัชกรในงานเภสัชกรรมสารสนเทศ แนวทางการจัดตั้งศูนย์เภสัชสารสนเทศและศูนย์พิษวิทยา การสืบค้นข้อมูลและการประเมินความน่าเชื่อถือของข้อมูลจากแหล่งข้อมูลต่าง ๆ เพื่อให้บริการเภสัชกรรมสารสนเทศอย่างเป็นระบบ การสื่อสารและเผยแพร่ความรู้ด้านยาและผลิตภัณฑ์สุขภาพ การใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศที่ทันสมัยในการให้บริการข้อมูลด้วยรูปแบบต่าง ๆ

This course aims to know and understand roles and responsibilities of pharmacist in drug information service, guidelines for the establishment of drug information and poisoning center, access and evaluation of drug information from various sources for systematic approach in drug information service, communication and provision of medical and health care product information, IT service for information providing.
