This course concerns classification, morphology, structure, basic structure of genetics, biological properties, growth, pathogenicity of bacteria, fungi/mycotoxins and virus in animals related to public health importance, pathogenesis and virulence factors, zoonosis, specimen collection, storage, laboratory diagnostic techniques and isolation, control and prevention of pathogen distribution.
