รายวิชานี้มุ่งเน้นให้ทราบและเข้าใจหลักการรักษาด้วยยา การเลือกใช้ยาให้ถูกต้องและเหมาะสมกับผู้ป่วยเฉพาะราย การประเมินและติดตามการตอบสนองต่อยาทั้งประสิทธิภาพและอาการไม่พึงประสงค์จากยา โดยครอบคลุมหลักการใช้ยาปฏิชีวนะในโรคติดเชื้อ โรคติดเชื้อเอชไอวีและโรคติดเชื้อฉวยโอกาส วัณโรค โรคมาลาเรีย โรคติดเชื้อปรสิต โรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ ช่องคลอดอักเสบ โรคผิวหนังติดเชื้อแบคทีเรีย โรคติดเชื้อในระบบทางเดินปัสสาวะ โรคติดเชื้อในระบบทางเดินหายใจส่วนบน ไข้หวัด ไข้หวัดใหญ่ คออักเสบ เยื่อจมูกอักเสบ หูอักเสบและไซนัสอักเสบ โรคปอดอักเสบและเมลิออยด์ วัคซีน โรคหอบหืด และโรคปอดอุดกั้นเรื้อรัง

This course aims to know and understand principles of pharmacotherapy, appropriate drug selection, monitoring efficacy and safety of drug treatment in infectious diseases include antibiotic smart use, acquired immunodeficiency syndromes and opportunistic infections, tuberculosis, malaria, paracitic infections, sexually transmitted diseases, vaginitis, skin and soft tissue infection, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory tract infections, common cold, flu, pharyngitis, rhinitis, otitis, sinusitis, pneumonia and melioidosis, vaccines, asthma and chronic pulmonary obstructive disease.
