This course aims at encouraging students to realize the significance and fascinating nature of the ASEAN region. The content of the course thoroughly examines the contemporary phenomena of the region, including contemporary debates over political and religious issues, gender and sexuality, environmental situations, popular culture movements, and the role of ASEAN in international relations.
