This course provides principles and conceptual basis of veterinary epidemiology, classification of epidemiological studies, types of data, relationship of host/ pathogen or agent/ vector and environment related to disease occurrence (epidemiological triad), screening and diagnostic test, sample size calculation, disease-outbreak investigation and disease surveillance, disease prevention and control, epidemiological data presentation, application in veterinary public health and one health.
