รายวิชานี้ศึกษาหลักการชีวเคมีในงานสาธารณสุข โครงสร้างและหน้าที่ของสารชีวโมเลกุล วิถีเมแทบอลิสมระดับเซลล์ โมเลกุล และระบบการทำงานของร่างกาย การควบคุมกระบวนการเมแทบอลิสมในภาวะปกติและการเกิดโรค การประยุกต์ใช้แนวคิดทางชีวเคมีในการวิเคราะห์กรณีศึกษาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับประเด็นสำคัญในงานสาธารณสุข

This course provides concepts of principles of biochemistry oriented approach to public health; structural and biological roles of biomolecules; major metabolic pathways at cellular, molecular, and physiology levels; metabolic controls in healthy and disease states; application of biochemistry concepts to analyse situations/case studies focused on public health issues.
