รายวิชานี้มุ่งเน้นให้ทราบและเข้าใจหน้าที่และกลไกในการผลิตองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ของเลือด กระบวนการสร้างเม็ดแดง เม็ดเลือดขาว เกร็ดเลือด และกระบวนการแข็งตัวของเลือด โรคที่เกิดจากความผิดปกติของระบบเลือด การตอบสนองของร่างกายและปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการติดเชื้อ การอักเสบและการสร้างภูมิคุ้มกันในร่างกาย การจำแนก การบ่งชี้ชนิด และโรคที่เกิดจากการติดเชื้อของแบคทีเรีย  ไวรัส รา และปรสิตที่มีความสำคัญทางการแพทย์

This course aims to know and understand functions and production of blood composition, mechanisms of erythropoiesis, leucopoiesis and thrombopoiesis; blood coagulation and blood disorder; body response and factors affecting to infection, inflammation in human body; classification, identification of medically important bacteria, virus, fungi and parasites including the pathogenic diseases.
