Procurement Management

This course is prepared to introduce the student into the concepts, models and tools in procurement management. Roles and importance of procurement, procurement activities, and procurement planning will be covered. In this course, students will learn the process of procurement from supplier evaluation and selection, negotiation and contract. Students will also learn how to develop an effective purchasing strategy and have to understand interfaces with other activities. An overview of supplier relationship management will also be discussed.
