วิชานี้มุ่งให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับภาพรวมของรากฐานเชิงปรัชญาและวิวัฒนาการของทฤษฎีและกรอบคิดสิทธิมนุษยชน กรอบการอภิปรายในวิชานี้ รวมถึงรากฐานเชิงปรัชญาของสิทธิมนุษยชน การส่งเสริมและคุ้มครองสิทธิมนุษยชนทั้งในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับชาติ และประเด็นต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับสิทธิมนุษยชนแต่ละเรื่อง ซึ่งจะเป็นรากฐานสำคัญสำหรับผู้ศึกษานำไปใช้ขยับขยายพรมแดนความรู้ในอนาคตต่อไป

This course aims to give students overview of the philosophical foundation and evolution of theories and concepts of human rights. Discussions include philosophical foundation of human rights; means of human rights recognition, promotion, and protection at a regional and national level; and issues relating to particular rights. This will allow students to expand their knowledge in the future.
