This course is designed to provide the students with the fundamental concepts of inventory management. Through this course, students will learn about type of inventory and type of demand. Additionally, students will learn about tools and techniques for inventory management including reorder point, order quantity, inventory control, and inventory turnover.

This course is designed to introduce the students into the management of transportation and distribution as part of the logistics process. The course will discuss about the transport economic theory and provide an overview of carriers: service, selection, pricing, freight and negotiation rates, liabilities, regulation and planning. Students will also learn modes of transportation and the government's role. Trends in transportation technology, intermodal transportation and systems (national and international) will be discussed.

LGM61-313 Logistics Law 3(3-0-6)
The focus of this course is on both business and logistics law. In business law
context, students will learn about types of business organization and laws regarding their
establishment, management, closure of business and liquidation. Law on environment,
securities, producer, consumer and labor protection will also be introduced. In logistics law
context, students will study laws and regulations related to logistics such as procurement
for goods and services, and international trading. Convention in transportation, convention
in storage and liabilities of businesses in the logistics sector will also be discussed.

This course aims to enhance students’ knowledge of warehouse management and information technology applications for warehouse management. Students will be familiar with equipments, storage and cargo / material handling. It includes space management for storage within warehouse and procedures of warehousing. This course also covers the analytical techniques for cargo flows, selection of cargo equipment, logistics information system management of warehouse and case study in warehouse management.
