รายวิชานี้มุ่งเน้นศึกษาเกี่ยวกับความรู้ทางพยาธิสภาพ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับหน้าที่ของเซลล์ กลไกการทำงานของระบบต่าง ๆ ในร่างกายมนุษย์ในสภาวะปกติและสภาวะผิดปกติ รวมทั้งศึกษาเกี่ยวกับจุลชีววิทยาและปรสิตวิทยาพื้นฐาน เชื้อก่อโรคที่พบบ่อยทางการแพทย์ ทั้งเชื้อจุลินทรีย์ ปรสิตและพาหะนำโรค โดยเน้นพยาธิสภาพของเซลล์ ระบบภูมิคุ้มกัน การอักเสบ การติดเชื้อ สารน้ำอิเลกโตรไลต์และกรดด่าง พยาธิสภาพของความปวด พยาธิสรีรวิทยาของระบบหัวใจและหลอดเลือด และพยาธิสรีรวิทยาของระบบประสาท โดยศึกษากลไกและกระบวนการทำงานในระดับโมเลกุลและระดับเซลล์ ตลอดจนการทำงานและความผิดปกติแบบบูรณาการของระบบต่าง ๆ เพื่อดำรงสภาพสมดุลภายในของร่างกายมนุษย์ บูรณาการความรู้พื้นฐานทางเภสัชวิทยา เภสัชพลศาสตร์ เภสัชจลนศาสตร์ การออกฤทธิ์ของยา อาการข้างเคียงของยา และประเมินติดตามอาการไม่พึงประสงค์จากการใช้ยาเคมีบำบัด ยาปฏิชีวนะ ฤทธิ์ของยาลดไข้และลดปวด ยาระบบหัวใจและหลอดเลือดและยาที่ออกฤทธิ์ต่อระบบประสาท
คำอธิบายรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ
This course focuses on the study of pathology. It relates to the functions of cells and the mechanisms of various systems in the human body under both normal and abnormal conditions. The study related to Fundamental of Microbiology and Parasitology, the common pathogenic microorganisms, and parasites in health conditions. Mechanisms of disease will be studied by systems and will be examined for the effect that they produce on the structure and function of the body. Content builds on basic physiology and pathology of cells, tissue, neoplasia, immunology, inflammatory infection, fluid electrolyte, acid-base, pain, cardiovascular and nervous system. This course is also providing students with a basic understanding of pharmacology including pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, mechanisms of drug, side effect, monitoring of adverse drug events, and rational drug use in chemotherapy for cancer, antibacterial, antipyretic, analgesic, and drug acting on cardiovascular and central nervous system.
