This course provides principles in toxicology, mechanisms of toxic injuries, classification of toxicants, factors influencing toxicity, evaluation and risk assessment of toxicity, diagnostic toxicology and laboratory analysis of toxic substances, therapeutic approach and management of toxic injuries in animals, toxicology of insecticides, pesticides, rodenticides, fungicides, plant and animal poisons, metals, minerals, industrial pollutants and common household products, drug intoxication.
