Physics and physicochemical properties of solid matters: micromeritics, polymorphism, theory of dissolution and factors controlling dissolutions; basic techniques in production: comminution, mixing, drying, coating; environmental monitoring and control in production process; formulation, manufacturing techniques and research and development of solid pharmaceutical products: powders, granules, effervescent solids, tablets, capsules including drug delivery systems; quality control of solid dosage forms according to pharmacopoeia: uniformity of dosage unit, disintegration and dissolution; packaging and process validation.
